Refund policy

Cool Story offers domestic returns for items valued at $40 or more within 30 days of receiving your order, excluding items marked as "Final Sale."

  • Exchanges and returns for store credit are free of charge.
  • For returns requesting a refund, the shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.

Please note that the following are not eligible for returns or exchanges: items under $40; final sale; gift cards.

*Think of us as your friend who advocates for intentional shopping :) All our finds are made by your neighbors, who invest their time, talent and materials to create pieces for people to love.

Issue with your order?
Did you accidentally bag the wrong thing (size, color, etc.)? *been there* just get in touch before your order is processed and we'd be happy to help you out with an exchange.

Once your order arrives, please check it closely. If a product is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, let us know so we can make it right.

Pease get in touch within 7 days of receiving your order if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

To make a return or exchange

To be eligible for a return, your product must be in the same condition that you received it (unworn or unused, with tags).

We can only accept returns for products in unworn, unused condition, exactly as they were received. Any returns or products sent back in unsellable condition — including, but not limited to, washed apparel, deodorant or makeup stains, pet hair, missing tags and odors/fragrances — will not be eligible for return and will be sent back to the customer. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
